R.T.Hansen launches a new series of revolutionary porcelain consisting of a plate: the porcelain "BERLIN 2007". The square plate is designed to stage and frame content elevating content 5 cm over the surface of the table. An effect known from sculptures or busts in museums: Objects appear more important and even sacral. Stacked in 5, the plates assemble to be a white cube. BERLIN 2007 is made by craftsmen's hands in traditional porcelain as a reversed Duchamp. When turned, it can work as a plate or a bowl or receptacle.

eine 'Design-Revolution': Das Porzellan "BERLIN 2007" (nach dem
Jahr des Konzeptentwurfs). Der Teller verbindet auf subtile Weise Design und
Kunst.
Die Beschaffenheit des Tellers ist derart, dass die Speise physisch (5cm)
und metaphysisch hervorgehoben wird: das Dargebotene wird zum quasi-heiligen
Kunstobjekt "erhoben" (allerdings nicht stilisiert). Gestapelt formen
5 Teller einen weißen Würfel. Um 180 Grad gedreht dienen die Teller
ideal als Schale, Suppenteller oder schlicht als Dekoration.
